Marvel Studios revealed more of the cast for its upcoming “X-Men” reboot at Disney’s D23 event in Anaheim. The studio said Adam Driver will play Mister Sinister and Inde Navarrette will play Rogue.
Kevin Feige introduced the announcements on stage, alongside additions including Christopher Abbott as Professor Charles Xavier and Maya Boyd as Storm. Driver appeared by video and joked about joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe after years of discussion.
The film already had several roles attached, including Samara Weaving as Emma Frost, Kit Connor as Scott “Cyclops” Summers, and Sadie Sink as Jean Grey. Feige said some of the cast had only just met backstage before the presentation.
The reboot is slated for May 2028 and is being directed by Jake Schreier. The article said the project became possible after Disney’s 2019 acquisition of Fox’s film studio.
