According to Iranian media Fars News, the Iranian parliament is currently reviewing a draft bill aimed at tightening control over transit rules in the Strait of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf.
The proposed regulations include a ban on the passage of vessels associated with the United States, Israel, and other nations deemed hostile.
Additionally, the bill seeks to restrict the transport of both military and civilian goods that are related to Israel, as well as limiting ship traffic associated with operations against the so-called 'Axis of Resistance.'
Entities that owe compensation payments to Iran would also be refused passage under the new rules.
If approved, violations of these regulations could incur fines of up to 20% of the cargo's value.
