Houthi military spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree stated the aircraft was detected in the province's airspace and was conducting hostile actions. The Associated Press could not independently verify the claim, and there was no immediate Saudi response.
Saree added that over the past 24 hours, a total of three Saudi reconnaissance drones were downed, including one spotted Monday morning in Bayda province. The Yemeni government armed forces reported targeting Houthi gatherings in Dahle province.
