PANews reported on August 7 that Kaito AI has announced an upgrade to its staking reward mechanism. The upgrade will introduce a qualification opt-in process that must be completed before allocations are determined. Unallocated tokens will be redistributed to active stakers prior to the opening of airdrop claims, with their expected allocation set to double compared to previous amounts.
Additionally, Kaito will waive pre-TGE token activity fees, and the participation rate for projects distributing airdrops to stakers is anticipated to increase significantly. Each airdrop will require users to maintain continuous staking throughout the entire activity cycle, with long-term stakers receiving a higher weighting in the allocations.
Kaito has projected that by 2025, each staked KAITO will yield a return of $1.64, which translates to an annualized return of 136%. The minimum threshold for most airdrops remains at 5,000 sKAITO, while holders of Yapybara NFTs will benefit from a 10% allocation multiplier bonus. Small stakers can also participate through Pendle’s YT-sKAITO pool.
