OpenSea Launches Solana NFT Trading After Four Years
- OpenSea has officially launched Solana NFT trading as of September 1.

OpenSea has officially launched Solana NFT trading, allowing users to buy, sell, and trade Solana NFT collections such as Mad Lads, Collector Crypt, and Phygitals. This marks a significant development for OpenSea, as it comes more than four years after the platform first supported Solana in a beta version in April 2022.
With this launch, Solana becomes the first non-EVM chain NFT trading network added by OpenSea since the conclusion of its beta period. Before this, OpenSea primarily focused on EVM-compatible chains, including Ethereum and several others.
The reintroduction of Solana support through OS2 in April 2025 had previously been limited to fungible tokens, but now users can engage with Solana NFTs directly on the platform. This expansion may influence the NFT market positively, as it broadens the trading options available to users.
