According to The Block, U.S. spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs saw a combined inflow of $1.1 billion for the week ending August 7, marking the best weekly performance since April. Bitcoin ETFs accounted for approximately $853.5 million of this total, while Ethereum ETFs contributed about $244.9 million.
Bitcoin ETFs recorded net inflows for five consecutive trading days, with BlackRock’s IBIT being the largest contributor at approximately $693.7 million, representing over 80% of the inflows. Fidelity’s FBTC also contributed with $116.4 million.
On the other hand, Ethereum ETFs have now posted net inflows for five consecutive weeks, which is the longest streak observed since 2026. However, despite these strong inflows, the weekly trading volume for Bitcoin ETFs was around $8.19 billion, reflecting a 9% decrease from the previous week, making it the second-lowest full trading week since October 2024.
Year-to-date, Bitcoin still shows net outflows of about $4.44 billion, while Ethereum ETFs show net outflows of approximately $873 million.
