Victory Securities, a Hong Kong-based financial services firm, has announced that it will implement a monthly insurance fee of 0.05% on virtual asset accounts that are custodied by HashKey, starting from August 10. This fee will be calculated daily based on the account's positions and will be settled on the second working day of each month, deducted in virtual assets.
Previously, only accounts custodied by OSL were subjected to this insurance charge, while those custodied by HashKey were exempt. The introduction of this fee aims to standardize costs across Victory Securities' custodial partners, thereby ensuring uniformity in charges for their clients.
