Andy Pages and Tommy Edman provided the power for Los Angeles with solo home runs. The Dodgers took the lead in the first inning on a RBI hit by Mookie Betts, then added to it as Pages went deep in the fifth and Edman homered in the sixth.
Milwaukee answered once on Joey Ortiz's RBI fly in the fifth inning, but Robert Gasser allowed three runs over 6 1/3 innings and the Brewers could not complete a comeback. Edwin Diaz worked through a bases-loaded ninth inning to earn his seventh save, and the Dodgers moved back within one game of first place in the NL.
