Marvel used Disney’s D23 convention to expand the cast of its upcoming “X-Men” reboot. Adam Driver was announced as the actor who will play Mister Sinister, while Inde Navarrette will play Rogue.
The studio also revealed more of the ensemble, including Christopher Abbott as Professor Charles Xavier and Maya Boyd as Storm. Driver appeared by video, while the other cast members were introduced on stage at the Honda Center in Anaheim.
Other previously announced roles include Samara Weaving as Emma Frost, Kit Connor as Scott “Cyclops” Summers, and Sadie Sink as Jean Grey. Marvel’s “X-Men” reboot is being directed by Jake Schreier and is slated for release in May 2028.
The film is part of the broader Marvel Cinematic Universe expansion that became possible after Disney bought Fox’s film studio in 2019.
