Short liquidations accounted for about $147 million, compared with about $106 million in long liquidations. That left shorts as the larger share of the total, at around 58%.
The single largest liquidation was recorded in Hyperliquid's BTC-USD contract at about $23.35 million. By platform, Binance saw the most liquidations at about $97.55 million, followed by Hyperliquid, OKX, and Bybit. For the crypto market, this points to elevated leverage-driven volatility and may be mildly bearish for short-term trading sentiment.
