Journey is preparing to begin the final stretch of a farewell tour that starts in Los Angeles in September and ends in San Francisco in November. The San Francisco show would close out a run of more than 100 concerts this year.
Neal Schon said the final stop is likely to carry extra emotion because the band’s history began in San Francisco. He said he expects the audience there to be especially energetic.
The tour will continue through a long list of U.S. cities, including Phoenix, Seattle, Chicago, Atlanta, Nashville, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Detroit, Boston, Cleveland, Denver and Las Vegas. Journey’s performances have often run more than two hours and mix well-known hits with deeper album tracks.
The band’s catalog includes six Top 10 Billboard singles and eight Top 10 albums on the Billboard 200. Among its best-known songs are 'Open Arms,' 'Who’s Crying Now' and 'Don’t Stop Believin’,' which Schon wrote with Jonathan Cain and then-lead singer Steve Perry.
Journey
Neal Schon
其代表作包括《Open Arms》《Who’s Crying Now》和《Don’t Stop Believin’》,后者由Schon与Jonathan Cain和当时的主唱Steve Perry共同创作。
