To achieve this change, Kellogg has identified fruit- and vegetable-based juices that will provide the distinctive colors for its cereals, including popular products like Froot Loops and Apple Jacks. Additionally, the company has invested in new equipment to facilitate the transition to natural colors.
Kellogg is also taking steps to remove BHT, an artificial preservative, from the small number of cereals that still contain it.
