Robinhood Chain's TVL continued to expand in August, rising more than 45% to above $540 million, according to data cited by The Block. At the same time, on-chain tokenized RWA increased to $32 million, but its share of total on-chain value dropped sharply from nearly one-third on July 7 to 6%.
The report said TVL grew about seven times faster than RWA, despite Robinhood's earlier emphasis on tokenized stocks as a central part of the chain's positioning. That leaves the picture mixed: overall activity on the chain increased, but the RWA segment became a much smaller part of the total.
The on-chain stablecoin market also expanded, with total market cap reaching $640 million, up more than 22% in August. USDe rose to $286 million, while USDG hovered between $330 million and $350 million. For markets, the report is broadly neutral to mildly positive for crypto activity, but it does not point to a clear stock, gold, or FX move.
