According to the report, tokenized equities have become one of the few RWA categories to post growth this year. Their market share rose from 5% at the beginning of the year to 15%, while total market capitalization reached roughly $2.8 billion.
The report also said overall RWA transfer volume doubled in August to $20 billion from $9 billion in July. Within tokenized equities, Ondo Finance, Binance's bStock, and xStocks account for most of the market.
Ondo leads the group with $957 million in market value, followed by bStock at $622 million and xStocks at $600 million. Together, the three control 77% of the segment.
The report distinguished between synthetic stock products, which are more actively traded but do not confer full ownership, governance rights, or shareholder protections, and projects that aim to place actual equity on-chain. For markets, the development is neutral to mildly positive for crypto/RWA activity, while the direct stock-market effect appears limited.
