Tony Romo is facing three additional citations stemming from his July 23 arrest in Wisconsin on suspicion of operating a vehicle while under the influence. Romo was stopped while driving south on Interstate 43 near Milwaukee. According to the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office, he performed poorly on field sobriety tests. An open bottle of alcoholic beverage was found in the passenger side of his black Jeep during an inventory before it was towed. A Romo spokesperson stated that he accepts full responsibility and is working with local authorities to resolve the matter.
