Venezuela holds the world's largest proven oil reserves at over 303 billion barrels according to OPEC's 2025 Annual Statistical Bulletin, far exceeding Saudi Arabia's 267 billion barrels. However, the country's daily production stands at just over 1 million barrels due to severely degraded energy infrastructure and international sanctions, compared to Saudi Arabia's 10-11 million barrels per day and the U.S. production of nearly 14 million barrels per day.
