The Dodgers scored first in the opening inning on three straight singles, with Mookie Betts driving in Andy Pages. Milwaukee answered in the fifth when Joey Ortiz brought home Luis Lara on a fly ball after Lara had led off the inning with a double.
Pages restored the lead for Los Angeles with his 20th home run of the season in the fifth inning, and Tommy Edman added another solo shot in the sixth. Robert Gasser took the loss for Milwaukee after allowing three runs on eight hits in 6 1/3 innings.
Edwin Diaz had a tense ninth inning, loading the bases before finishing his seventh save. The Dodgers won the second game of the four-game series after losing the opener 5-4 earlier on Friday night.
