The total circulating supply of USDC now stands at 73.7 billion coins, backed by reserves totaling approximately $74 billion. The reserve portfolio is diversified across multiple asset classes and institutions.
The majority of reserves, about $49.6 billion, are held in overnight reverse repurchase agreements backed by U.S. Treasury securities. An additional $13.2 billion is invested in Treasury securities with maturities of less than 3 months. Approximately $10.5 billion is maintained in deposits at systemically important financial institutions, with the remaining $700 million held in other bank deposits.
